David Brown has recently retired as both a senior managing partner and practising structural engineer with TaskForce Engineering Inc., a Belleville-based design-build firm that specializes in the ICI construction sector. He was a founding partner of TaskForce and holds a diploma in civil engineering technology from St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology and a bachelor of applied science in civil engineering from Queen’s University. Brown is a member of PEO, the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, Canadian Society for Civil Engineering and the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). Brown also sits as a board member for Engineers Canada and has been the board representative to the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board and remains active as an accreditation visitor. He also represents PEO as a board member for the OACETT. Aside from his work at PEO, Brown has volunteered extensively within his community and, in particular, with the United Way, where he was a past chair of the Campaign Committee. He is very happily married to his wonderfully supportive wife, Liza, and between them they have four amazing children.
