Message from the Chapter Chair

Dear Members,

As the Chair of the Brampton Chapter of PEO, I am continually inspired by the dedication and passion of our engineering community. I am honoured to serve such a dynamic and committed group of professionals. Our chapter thrives because of the collective efforts of our members, and I am reaching out today with three important messages.

Firstly, we need more volunteers. Our chapter's initiatives and events thrive because of the contributions of our members. Volunteering is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the profession, develop new skills, and connect with fellow engineers. Whether you can contribute a few hours a month or take on a larger role, your involvement is crucial. Together, we can achieve great things and continue to make a positive impact in our community.

Secondly, I want to emphasize that our chapter is the voice of the membership. We play a vital role in communicating your concerns and issues to PEO Council. Your feedback and participation ensure that our collective voice is heard and that we can advocate effectively on behalf of our members. Please do not hesitate to share your thoughts and ideas with us.

Lastly, we are seeking your input on the types of events you would like to see. Your preferences and interests are important to us, and we want to ensure that our events and activities meet your needs. Whether it's professional development workshops, networking events, or social gatherings, your suggestions will help us plan and deliver valuable experiences for all members.

Thank you for your ongoing support and dedication. Let's continue to work together to strengthen our chapter and the engineering profession.

Warm regards,

Ranjit Gill, P.Eng., PTOE, PMP
