Conestoga - Rovers & Associates (CRA) is an innovative champion in the environmental engineering sector, known for its work in high profile projects, including the remediation of contaminated land at Love Canal and the clean-up of the Mississauga train derailment. Engineer Rovers has an international reputation for providing expert testimony at environmental board hearings, chairing international seminars to formulate practice guidelines for waste disposal on land, and conducting research studies. He has also written numerous papers, reports and books including Solid Waste Landfill Engineering and Design, Statistical Procedures for Analysis of Environmental Monitoring Data & Risk Assessment and Constructed Wetlands for the Treatment of Landfill Leachates. CRA owes much of its success to Frank Rovers' innovative leadership style. From a small partnership in 1976, Engineer Rovers grew CRA to a company with more that 900 people in 30 offices throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom. Rover credits the success of CRA to its flat management style and "letting people do what they do best". Doing what he does best, Rovers manages the teams of engineers and scientists that work together to solve major environmental problems throughout North America and the world. Engineer Rovers' formula is simple and proactive: "We work hard. We provide the highest level of service to our clients. And we adopt our clients' problems like they are our own."
