Offering Services to the Public

In Ontario, professional engineers who provide engineering services directly to the public must have a certificate of authorization (C of A).

 

Practice Evaluation and Knowledge Program

PEO’s Practice Evaluation and Knowledge (PEAK) program is an annual program designed to improve the association’s data about its practitioners’ engineering practice profiles while encouraging individualized continuing knowledge development.

Code of Ethics

PEO’s Code of Ethics is a basic guide for professional conduct with respect to society, employers, clients, colleagues, the engineering profession and him or herself.

P.Eng. Seal

The Professional Engineers Act requires every licence holder to have a seal issued by PEO identifying the holder as a “Licensed Professional Engineer.”
