J. Timothy Bryant, P.Eng
J. Timothy Bryant, .Eng., is an exemplary interdisciplinary researcher at Queen's University with the ability to interact effectively and productively with colleagues of widely different backgrounds. His achievements of engineering excellence are highlighted in technology and education. The Clinical Mechanics Group (CMG) of which Engineer Bryant is a key member, is a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, engineers and others dedicated to musculoskeletal research. His design work to reproduce natural geometry in artifical joints provides high dexterity of the joint after surgical implantation and has received world wide acclaim. CMG developed the Questor Pecision radiograph (QPR) radiograph system which has been widely implemented in Canada and overseas. Dr. Bryant directs engineering design aspects in the CMG's artificial joint development program. The program has achieved international acceptance of its designs.
