Keith Loucks, P.Eng., FEC
A long-time PEO volunteer and leader, Keith Loucks is known for his exceptional dedication to the Lake of the Woods Chapter in northwestern Ontario.
Over two decades, Keith has enthusiastically served in multiple chapter leadership roles, including chair, past chair, treasurer, secretary, finance and education, consistently advocating for positive change within the chapter. Indeed, Keith was a driving force behind the chapter's continued existence when, in 2004, the Lake of the Woods Chapter was at risk of being absorbed into the Lakehead Chapter. He and four other chapter leaders committed to revitalizing the chapter, and since then Keith has remained a presence on the chapter executive, holding key positions including chair for 6 years total and treasurer.
He has also served on the organizing committee of PEO’s education conferences and is a regular attendee at the regulator’s Chapter Leaders Conferences, Northern Regional Conferences and PEO annual general meetings, often travelling more than 4,000 kilometres to participate. Keith's meeting contributions are invaluable, offering thoughtful feedback on various processes and issues, and reflecting his commitment to improving the profession. Keith exhibits unwavering support for colleagues from all chapters, fostering collaboration and shared growth within the regional engineering community.
Keith is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusivity within his chapter's executive team and within his former company's employment practices. His dedication to promoting a more diverse and equitable engineering community is truly commendable.
