All professional engineers and limited licence holders must complete PEO’s continuing professional development (CPD) requirement every year. This annual requirement is administered through the Practice Evaluation and Knowledge (PEAK) program.
2024 PEAK reminder
As we near the end of the 2024 PEAK program, we remind licence holders to complete any overdue or pending PEAK requirements, including submitting your 2024 CPD report on or before December 31, 2024. To complete overdue/pending PEAK requirements, please go to the PEAK section of your PEO portal account at: https://secure.peo.on.ca.
All professional engineers and limited licence holders must complete PEO’s PEAK CPD program every year to maintain their licence.
New PEAK reporting site coming in January 2025
In January 2025, PEO is launching a new PEAK site for completing your annual CPD requirements. Featuring a modern look and improved functionality, the new PEAK site makes reporting and tracking CPD requirements simple and efficient.
The new PEAK site will launch in early January, on the same day that the 2025 PEAK program begins. (You will receive an email on this day requesting that you begin the 2025 PEAK program.)
The process for completing PEAK remains the same. In January, simply login to your PEO portal account and click the PEAK tab to start the process for completing your CPD requirements.
PEAK compliance
Your annual PEAK requirements are mandatory. Failure to complete them may result in the suspension of your licence, at the discretion of the PEO Registrar.
PEO’s PEAK program helps us fulfill our public interest mandate by supporting engineers in practising competently and ethically.
