Long description

Table showing the three elements of the PEAK program based on licence and practice statuses and corresponding deadlines.

Overview

The table shows the three elements of the annual PEAK program that will apply to PEO licence holders and the annual deadlines for each element.

It shows that all three elements of the program will apply to licence holders with a practice status of “practising” and a licence status of “permitted to practise” (practice evaluation, professional practice module and CPD report), and only two elements will apply to licence holders and persons with a practice status of “not practising” and a licence status of “not permitted to practise” (practice evaluation and professional practice module). In some instances, licence holders with a practice status of “not practising” may have a licence status of “permitted to practise” by completing all three elements of the program (practice evaluation, professional practice module and CPD report).

It also shows that the Practice Evaluation element will have two components based on the licence status: a practising or non-practising declaration, and a practice evaluation questionnaire for those who are permitted to practise; a non-practising declaration and a non-practising survey for those who are not permitted to practise.

It also shows that the annual deadline for the Practice Evaluation and Professional Practice Module is January 31 for everyone, and the annual deadline for the CPD report for licence holders who are permitted to practise is December 31.
